I just joined the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce and wrote a short description of my practice for a feature article they will publish. I thought I would share it here as it provides information about my areas of specialty. Although it’s not stated, my mission in life is to improve the health and wellbeing of as many women as possible because, as I stated on my website, this is spread exponentially to all. Here’s the practice in a “175-word-maximum nutshell”:
Cheryl Hamilton, NMD, who began her career in healthcare 32 years ago, has opened a practice, the Women’s Health and Healing Center, in Prescott Valley. Dr. Hamilton provides integrative healthcare to women and their loved ones with yearly gynecological exams, hormone replacement therapy (for men and women), IV therapy, pharmaceutical/nutriceutical/botanical therapies, genetic analysis, prolotherapy for pain management, and weight management.
“Most importantly”, she states, “I spend time with my patients to get to know their physical and psychological state of ‘dis-ease’, so I can treat the cause rather than simply addressing symptoms. Treating the whole person is paramount to the attainment of health.”
She earned a B.S. degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University before attending the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. “I’m fortunate to have attended a premier four-year naturopathic medical school to learn science-based traditional and alternative therapies. This provided an in-depth understanding of the biochemical, physiological and psychological aspects of health and healing.”
